We dined here to celebrate our 5th wedding anniversary. Top notch food and service. We did the 7 course tasting menu with the optional wine pairing and everything was superb. It is a lovely setting and well deserving of its Michelin status. I don&rsquo;t know where La Fourchette gets the average price of 65&euro; per person though, as the lowest price point listed on the menu is 95&euro; per person.

This is the third time I have eaten Pierre Gagnaire, at night in Bordeaux. The result is that I have eaten the dishes. But probably because I have eaten the classic menu of Grandpa&#39;s retrospective at Pierre in Old Mandarin Oriental, Hong Kong. This night I always feel that the trick tastes like acquainted, and there is no surprise. The unexpected thing is that the service is actually green and the movement is so big that it is a bit disturbing. The artistic creation of the plate and decoration is also deliberate, which somewhat affects the appetite. Ugh...
